I have had a very keen interest for many years in the numerous sighting of Thylacine's in Western Australia, and have spoken to several people who have personally sighted the Thylacine.

I have been privileged to visit Sid Slee's Museum on his property just out of Busselton, and have a photo of the cut out tin Thylacine at the entrance to his property. I also have a copy of his book 'The Haunt of the Marsupial Wolf'.

I have a photocopy of the pictures that Kevin Cameron took near Sid's property and I have a large collection of articles from The West Australian Newspapers of numerous sightings in W.A.that go back over 40 years in Western Australia. That also includes many articles on the 'Big cat' sightings in W.A.

I have also spent some time in the dense bush in the very early hours of the morning between Sid Slee's place and the little town of Nannup where the Nannup Tiger or Tigers are said to roam, looking and listening for clues to the Tigers existence.

I was also lucky to have met the late Ian Offer who lived at Kirup - a retired Wildlife Officer and owner of the the Wellesley Road Wildlife Park who firmly believed in the existance of the Thylacine in W.A. - to such end, that he gave me some photos for safekeeping.

I have for several years been going to put all my stuff on a wesite with photos, newspaper clippings and all the other information that I have collected, and now I should be able to achieve that shortly.

I have absolutely no doubt about the continued existance of Thylacine's in Western Australia, due to the numerous sightings.

I have personally not sighted a Thylacine but I did have the unexpected pleasure of sighting the 'Kalbarri Cat'(Cougar like animal)on 15th January 1991 on the main road into Kalbarri about 15 Km out of town at approx 5.35pm (Daylight). I reported that sighting to the Kalbarri Police Station and to the Rangers, who knew of its existence and had taken Plastercast Paw prints of it 20 Km south of Kalbarri.

Despite the critics and the disbelievers it is inevitable that a Thylacine will be photographed or captured at some stage in the future. My photo from Ian Offer of a Thylacine in a paddock beween Benger and Brunswick Junction may well be sufficient proof!!

That will be a great event.

My interest will continue, as will my research.

To all those others who use this site - keep looking and keep believing.

Hi Mike. When will your website be up and running? I'm also curious about the Thylacine picture you mention. Any chance you could share? Would LOVE to see it.
