Hello,

the pictures taken by Klaus Emmerichs, of Germany, in Tasmania in 2005 are subject to copyright.

I do have copies of them which I have used for an extensive analysis published on my website at www.wherelightmeetsdark.com , but I have removed the photos for copyright reasons.

I must say though, that I find Mr Emmerichs' photos to appear genuine. In addition, I have been in communication with Mr Emmerichs numerous times to discuss various aspects of the sighting and I have no reason to believe he is making the story up.

The photos were published in a Tasmanian newspaper in April 2006 and in a European magazine shortly thereafter; you may be able to find and purchase copies of these publications.

One more note - the images circulating on the internet are of poorer quality than the originals. According to Mr Emmerichs, the newspaper degraded the quality prior to publication. For one thing, the colours appear incorrectly.

I have not seen the originals, only the electronic copies and the newspaper print, but I still feel they are useful because the camera moved between taking the two photographs - this means all the elements in the picture changed relative position. By comparing the images we can work out how far (relatively) each element in the picture was from the camera.

There are many other factors involved in examining Mr Emmerichs' photos, and the full text is still available on the site - some 10+ pages.

Cheers,

Chris.
